Get Ready for our Spring Show & Sale!
This is an amazing event showcasing orchids in bloom, orchid judging, education, artistic expression and conservation. We cordially invite you and your loved ones to attend. This is entirely volunteer-driven and an incredible undertaking, but we are thrilled to share our horticultural happiness with our community.
Admission
Tickets are available at the door at times of admission only. You cannot purchase tickets in advance. We are able to accept cash and card (credit & debit) transactions at the door with the help our fellow friendly VOS volunteers. Please note that several vendors will only take cash for plant purchases.
Admission to VanDusen Botanical Garden is NOT included with admission to the VOS Spring Show & Sale.
Exhibition
Are you ready to see the most beautiful and exotic orchids from around the world? Be prepared to be inspired by beautiful plants and blooms hailing from around the world. From Asia, Africa, and Central America to beyond, our local members were able to grow all these exotic plants just for you. Bring your friends, family, and special date to explore nature’s marvels.
Education
You can learn all about orchids and their care at the show and sale! Just locate our Membership Table near the exit and one of our volunteers will help answer any orchid question you have. Whether it be about lighting, media choice, or how to water properly, we’ve got you and your new orchid purchases covered! We’ll even have several potting demonstrations on Sunday.
Sale
We’re bringing in 9 award winning vendors locally and internationally just for you! From Taiwan to Ecuador, this is your chance to find something absolutely stunning and unique. Orchids make great gifts! Please bring cash as some vendors only accept this form of payment.
Preview Party Sale Night: Friday, March 20th
Doors open at 7:00pm. Ribbon award ceremony from 7:00-7:30 pm. Preview party plant sales from 7:30-9:00 pm. Sweet and savoury delights will be available.
Tickets are $20 and are available for purchase at the door ONLY. There are NO presales of tickets.
Attendees benefit from early access to plant sales ahead of the general public.
